We all want to rank high soon. Sadly, most of us do not get to rank high even later. This is a fact since most of the people striving for higher rankings do not fully understand how search engines work.
A lot of people start with one technique to build links and use it to an extent that it start seeming un-natural, which negatively affects their rankings.
Other people do both the on-page and off-page optimization perfectly but then expect the website to appear on page 1 the next day.
The problem is that even if you do everything perfectly, every search engine follows a strict set of rules called Algorithms. Google especially is known for changing its algorithms from time to time, making it very difficult, if not impossible, to forecast when your website will start ranking high.
Some SEO experts say that the difference in ranking time is due to the Sandbox effect, while others deny this.
We personally feel that because the algorithms change frequently, your rankings have an equal probability of showing up in the SERPS in 3 days or 2 months later.
The best way to approach the SEO aspect is to try to do everything “right” and your website will show up on page 1 sooner or later.
